The Garments of Praise Collection

Welcome! My name is Callie Christina, designer and owner of The Remnant Thread. This dress collection is inspired by Isaiah 61:3 "...in exchange for a spirit of heaviness or despair, put on a Garment of Praise." What started as a simple prompting while in my “prayer closet” to design a dress to celebrate the Lord, this minimalist design was born and quickly overtook my physical closet with the dresses shown here! As I wore these simple dresses with joy, women began to approach me and ask how they could have one of their own. This website is for those who want to join me with their “Garment of Praise”.

Each Garment of Praise offers custom sizing:

bustline

waist

hips

sleeve length

length of dress

and options of a closed or open sleeve.

Each Garment of Praise takes about 4+ yards of material. Some clients choose to use what I have on hand . This option is $135

Some clients prefer to use fabric they have been gifted or find themselves.

This option $110.

Either option is always a perfect fit!!

Knee Length Fall Prints

For each Garment of Praise sold a portion goes to support Akonda Ministries in Malawi, Africa. This non-profit helps support sustainable communities to those living in Malawi. You can learn more on their website https://www.akondaministries.com/ I met Justie and her family when I taught 3 of her 8 children in school!
